Back to the Passer Rating vs QBR for a moment. I'm generally fairly neutral since both have provided great and head-scratching examples. For those who prefer Passer Rating, you got a good example why yesterday. CJ Stroud threw FOUR interceptions and was incredibly lucky he didn't end up with 5 or 6. He finished 20-47, 215 yards, 4.5 yards per throw; 1 TD pass. Drake Maye lost two fumbles, but was otherwise efficient with 16-27 for 179 yards and a 6.6 yards per throw average. He also threw 3 TDs and had 1 INT. His passer rating was 100.7 while Stroud's was 28. However, Stroud's QBR was 21.1 vs Maye's 20.8. No one, and I mean no one who watched that Patriots - Texans game yesterday would conclude Stroud was better than Maye. On ESPN this morning, they were talking about the Texans possibly drafting a QB this April.
