Gallon an enigma for OU >>> Tulsa World

I personally think he'll be back. Once it gets to the off-season and Capel can re-recruit him. I think he'll be back. He's not going to want to sit a year after a transfer...and he's not going to the NBA yet.

Let him go. In fact, Capel needs to ask him to leave. His attitude is horrific and he's not as good as advertised.

Come on Capel, grow a pair and do what needs to be done!

But what really needs to be done? Tiny I think really needs some more work not only in basketball but in life. Hopefully Coach can get him to realize that when you are playing basketball for money skipping stuff that the coach says to be at is not an option. Tiny is in not any more ready for the real world of professional basketball after one year than I was ready to be a pharmacist after one year of pharmacy school. Maturing into a responsible adult does not magically occur on you 18th birthday. For Tiny's sake I hope he figures that out.

so his results on the court tell you he has a horrific attitude?

Well I can safely say that you have a horrific attitude.

The fact he's been suspended multiple times and he plans to leave at the end of the year confirm my thoughts about his attitude.

It's ok to disagree with me, but don't get personal. I'm certainly not making it personal.

Thanks.

you and boca crack me up.

I'm just judging you like you judge Tiny. You are not in the program, stop making assumptions. And you don't know if he is planning on leaving.

I know more than you think I know.

The difference is, I am not on a full scholarship to play at OU so why are you judging me? I've been a season ticket holder for more years than you've been alive, so if you must judge me, at least do it on all merits.

haha. you are too much. you have to be the same poster as Boca. Just STFU with your crazy talk

No, I'm different. Actually, I think Cade Davis is the best player on the team based on consistent results on the court. Boca doesn't even think Cade should be starting.

Also, I think WW should leave because this team is much better without him, if that tells you how bad we are with him. Boca thinks WW should stay.

So, we aren't the same person, but thanks for trying.

Kick 'eem off!!! Kick 'em all off! Get 5 Tim Hesketts and we will surely win the big 12 title!!!

i think we understand now what coach Capel is talking about when he said that there are to many players with personal agenda's. This has to be some kind of a joke. when you have a player that is barely an average player talking about making a decision about going pro after the season.... you know something is wrong. Does tiny know what the word delusional means? it's one thing getting drafted on potential but it's another to get drafted when you've proven at both the high school and college level to be somewhat uncoachable, proven to be lazy and perceived to have a bad attitude. there is no way on this earth tiny would even be drafted right now. he hasn't even proven he's a big man yet. none of the skills that he has shown right now translate to the NBA game.

has he proven to be a good rebounder?
has he proven to be a good scorer?
what about a good shot blocker?
what about a good dribbler?
what about a good passer?
what about a good leader?

the answer to them all are a resounding no. he hasn't done any of these things half way consistently yet for thirty games. what makes anyone here thinks that a team will think he can do it for 82 games.

i don't know the kid personally so my comments are only speaking about on the court basis.

I'd be surprised if Gallon comes back. He already said during the recruiting process that he was a one & done. All it will take is a slimy agent to nab his signature on the premise he'll get drafted and it's a done deal. Of course I base this only off my observations on the matter.

IF Tiny comes back I believe he'll come back with a new focus and this will be VERY good for OU basketball AND Tiny Gallon. Let's just hope he sees the light!

Booger, you continue to cite Tiny's multiple suspensions as proof of his low character, and yet Tiny was suspended once -- which was quickly rescinded. As for the results on the court, you must not have witnessed his beastly performance on saturday.

There's no enigma. It's called being a true freshman playing your first year in the Big 12.

I don't know about this guy. His as talented as all outdoors, but doesn't want to put in the work and has attitude issues on top of that.
