NORMAN – No. 17/16 Oklahoma (13-2, 0-2) hits the road in search of its first SEC men's basketball win when it plays at Georgia (13-2, 1-1) on Saturday at 5 p.m. CT inside Stegeman Coliseum in Athens. The Bulldogs, who are receiving votes in both major polls, are 10-0 at home this season.

Saturday's game will be televised by ESPN2 with John Schriffen (play-by-play) and Perry Clark (analyst) announcing. It will air on the Sooner Sports Radio Network (KRXO 107.7 FM The Franchise in Oklahoma City; KTBZ 1430 AM in Tulsa; Varsity Radio App) with Toby Rowland (play-by-play) and Kevin Henry (analyst) on the call.

Or it is really hard to win on the road in this conference this year.
Unless your road game is in Norman against a coach who is 13-15 in conference home games. Let’s take a peek the rest of the season and see if many other ranked teams are as big a dog in Athens as we are.

Tomorrow, road teams are favored in four of the eight games. We are the second biggest road dog.

My family of 4 will be at the game today. It's been a long time since I've attended an OU bball game, but having OU come to GA and the surrounding states is one of the perks of moving to the SEC. Hopefully, we can bring some luck.

FWIW, there was a decent amount of snow/ice yesterday and last night. Even though UGA sent out a text last night stating that the game would still be played (after cancelling school-wide activities yesterday), hopefully many of the UGA fans will stay home.

Hope you have an enjoyable time. I’m at least hoping for a competitive game.

Btw, given all the talk about Fears and the draft (and the Michigan guys lol), today we will likely face the highest draft pick we will face all year. To say it’s a scary matchup for our bigs is an understatement.

It’s not going to be pretty. But it’s where we’re at.

When do we think OU gets its first conference win? Will it be this year? Sigh.

They could beat Texas at home coming up. Texas isn’t anything special this year. I would still be shocked if they went winless in conference. I think 7 wins is probably the absolute ceiling. Especially cause they aren’t getting the two injured guys back.
