Game 8- SEC/ACC Challenge #21 OKLAHOMA (7-0) vs. GEORGIA TECH (4-3) 8pm CST on ESPNU

I think the most disappointing thing about that half was how easy it was to see coming. We are not even close to being good enough to have a letdown game or take any opponent for granted, but given our pattern the last three years, it seemed inevitable. And he’s hard to believe we didn’t come out breathing fire on the glass after what happened in Atlantis.
I drove down for the Texas game last year and the first half reminded me of that game. I hope the second half doesn’t. In that game I kept hoping something would change but it never happened.

Well, for as crappy as we seemed to have played (don’t know any stats) to only be down 4 … good? lol.

The team is night/day from the team that played last weekend.
In some ways, it’s very similar. We got killed on the glass, fouled a lot, and had zero inside presence last week. The difference is that we shot very well in the tournament, especially the final two games. This is the issue with this team … if we aren’t shooting well, and Fears is struggling or on the bench, how do we score?

Luke didn’t do anything that half and Wague’s only stat is one foul, but I’d rather see anyone on the court to start the half than Sam. It’s almost unfathomable that a guy could provide less production as a starter over a four-game span. If there is a power conference team with a worse situation at the five, I feel bad for their fans.

Yeah i've been worried that the little burst of production from Northweather was an outlier. I'll bet he gets eaten alive in SEC play. Cringe to think of playing those teams with our situation inside...Yikes

I hope we try to get transition points (without forcing it) any time we get a defensive rebound (which I hope is often)
