Remaining 7 pages were for the second half when we started playing poorly. Lulz.

lol...you guys crack me up...

so what? I noticed you didn't post a thing (on the first 4 pages) until it was about 16 seconds left, then you said something about my "escape" comment, which was exactly what happened and was what the announcers said.

IT'S A FREAKING MESSAGE BOARD....I would have been saying the same thing AT the game or at a bar...it's a place to VENT.

You don't think any other fans were saying the same thing...even at the game?

it's what fans do...fans say the same thing when their team plays like crap.

THEN you post a message about it...:facepalm

geeze...

Lol...

Neither of u even posted 1 comment...on the first 4 pages...most of us that were there for the good part were there for the bad part...

Give me a break...u guys are loco

C'mon, TINY...the team had a second half meltdown...human nature for the fans to start complaining. I was worse...actually shut off my TV. I remember after one loss a couple of weeks back, one poster started a thread about Coach Kruger being a below average in-game coach ;)

Earlier in the season, I started a thread questioning Coach Kruger's timeout philosophy. These types of threads and posts are nothing more than fans venting...no point in calling each other out all the time...makes for a crappy message board.

Who cares?

People are more vocal with complaints than praise. That's not unique to OU or OU basketball. People are much more likely to tell their friends and colleagues about a terrible experience at a restaurant than a good one. Studies have shown this. This should be no surprise.

I can't fathom any desire to create a new thread complaining about all the complaints in another thread. Game threads can be cess pools, especially when we don't play well. This is news?

Praised them when they looked like world-beaters, questioned them when they looked like a high school JV team.

Never understood the need to be on a message board and watch a game at the same time.

I'd be more than happy to host a game watch party..then we could "praise" and "complain" in person! lol...

come on up~

considering how bad that half was going 7 sounds not bad. I woulda bet on double digits.

That makes two of us. I'm too focused on the game to keep one eye on the television and the other on an Ipad. If I post on the game thread, it's during a timeout, at the half or after the game is over. Multi-tasking is not one of my strong points anyway.

There's no shortage of opportunities to make a comment about the game when it takes close to two hours to play a 40 minute game.

I've never quite understood this argument. Is comparing comment pages per half a reliable measure of anything? Which matters most - the first half or the second half? When did we actual get in danger of losing the game? Does that matter? There are countless other factors to consider.
