Good luck tonight and the rest of the season from an Iowa State fan. I pretty much know it would take a miracle for ISU to share in the Big 12 title so I am really pulling for OU to win the damn thing outright. Please don't allow KU to have their name in any way associated with the title this year and as far as that goes.....I don't need West Va. up there either. I could see you and Kansas being tied in the end real easily right now. That K-State loss was a tough one. I think most Iowa State fans feel the same way in that we would rather have Oklahoma win it all if we can't. Good luck.

Thanks for the good wishes! Here's hoping that ISU can do what OU couldn't quite pull off -- win in Lawrence. Unless/until someone beats them in the Fieldhouse, they will likely always end up with at least a share of the title. If it can't be OU, the Clones would be my choice to overcome KU, the fans, and all the crappy whistles that happen every time a game is close down the stretch in Lawrence!

Good luck to the Cyclones as well! I remember cheering when the 1985 NCAA Tournament bracket was announced and your school was called for the first time. I liked Johnny Orr and the tradition he started there. The Cyclones are one of the few teams in the conference I can root for...beat KU in Lawrence!

Too bad about McKay being suspended. You'll likely need him to win the tougher games on your schedule. But, assuming he was dismissed for an attitude problem or breaking team rules, I've got to believe the other players will respect Coach Prohm's decision. It takes a big pair to suspend one of your best players in the middle of a heated conference race.
