Actually, if OU was in it I would love them.

Scoreboard isn't Jerry World big, but pretty big nonetheless........

That's ridiculous. It sucks that the final 4 has become such a mega event, because basketball isn't meant to be played or viewed in venues like that. I'd much rather watch at home.

not a big fan of basketball in football stadiums....luckily I had lower level seats for the final four in atlanta that OU played Indiana......sold my seats for the final game (Indiana-Maryland) and bought some in the upper section and it wasn't that great, in fact i cannot remember really anything about that game.

I was in the club level behind the goal in Atlanta and they were like 100 yards away from the court. We did sell our title game tickets to some Indiana fan for like $700 for the pair an hour before tip-off, so that helped pay for the miserable trip.

When OU was in the Sweet 16 against Michigan State in St. Louis, I was in the third row from the top in the corner. Couldn't even hear the players shoes squeak on the court. Horrible.

I have a freakish memory.

wow! good digging sam.

thread REEEE-MIIIIIIX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like to actually SEE basketball being played.

I know this isn't always the favored position - but I happen to like the sport. I could enjoy watching PVA&M play Ball State.

Being there doesn't mean crap to me. In fact, it's normally counterproductive.

I don't even like watching from the 3rd tier of the Ford Center or the American Airlines arena. I don't have to be right down front, but I want to be able to read the names on the jerseys. If my only option was to sit that far away, I'd watch on TV.

I could have bought tickets for the Final Four next year in Houston, but I decided against it since they would be way up in a big dome like that.

Hopefully I can find some lower for a good price over the next year, or use my connections and get in a box.

I think the NCAA mandated even bigger venues now, excluding the Alamodome, which was a great site. I want to say only 8-9 existing sites meet the new rule.
