This is from a KSU preseason media guide or something when Dana Altman was the coach. OU was 3rd at the time behind KSU and KU.

Oddly enough KSU was first.

So you're saying they had a sellout one time?

I'll bet they haven't had 10 sellouts in the past decade.

Im just trolling.

On the thread about conference championships, I am not trolling.

Hard to separate the herders and whorns in that picture.

I've got that one panoramic photo framed from last year's OU-Baylor "senior night" game. I bought it on Campus Corner. I like that one a whole lot better, for obvious reasons, and it's got lots of "basketball fans" in it as well.

I've been to a sold-out OU game and a sold out OSU game, and I will say the experience is better at OSU. The way the arena is built/designed, etc. It's a better basketball arena and experience.

Anyone disagree?

i doubt you will find anyone that thinks the LNC is a better bball arena.

But big sold out game experience comparisons is probably a wash. For me it wouldn't be a big difference. Its all about the fans and game

And yet that doesn't seem to matter. We have more win head to head, more weeks ranked in the ap poll, and more tournament appearances and wins.

Nobody can dispute that, they are numbers. Numbers don't lie.

I was just speaking to the atmosphere and facilities. They have better. No shame in that. Those things are probably the biggest problem with OU basketball, always have been. We talk about it every year.

Big high schools have a better basketball arena and experience than OU.
Lloyd Noble is not a basketball facility. It is a multipurpose facility that often has a basketball court on it.

they don't have better facilities or atmosphere .. gia is a garbage place to watch a basketball game if you are not in the first 15 rows
