Iowa State is very well coached and they were running some very good screens to get open for the treys. I don't mind when they hit a trey from 25 feet out with a hand in their face and they hit a ton of them today. Just give them credit. But I don't understand why we give up so many wide open treys from the corner. Possibly because we are weak defensively inside.
I was hoping that Harmon had broken out but the last two games he has been pretty well shut down and unable to get open for shots. Harkless on the other hand seems to be just getting better. But other than Gibson we don't have a solid three point shooter. Gibson is doing a better job of getting open as the season progresses and is showing more confidence going to the hoop.
Any win is good and we will have a tough time with them in Ames. Need a win there and with K-State and at least two from games with OSU, West Virginia and Texas.
