What a week for this court general!

39 points on 15 for 21 shooting and 13 assists.

Played a very smart game today, not forcing his shots, passing or ball handling. :OUbball-logo:

wasnt there someone on here that thought he needed benched? maybe it was on twitter. Slumps happen. Glad its over hopefully.

Very happy for him to break out of his slump. His hard work has payed off these last 2 games. PERFECT example to the younger players that saw his hard work to get his game back on track. The work ethic of this team is why they are in the position they are in. Hope it continues through the year and for many more to come.

He played extremely well today. It got hidden a little in Woodard's 1st half and the overall play of the 2nd, but he was very good.

Cuz also really bothered the Baylor guards defensively. I'm proud of him.

It's nice having so many guys who can shoot. Woodard is probably the most improve shooter I've ever seen. He went from bad to great in one season. Hopefully, these guys are rubbing off on the young guys.

May be the most under appreciated player I can remember. He had a tough 1st year and it colored perceptions of his play to many.

This. 100%. Buddy gets a lot of love for being a program transforming type player and rightfully so. But what's lost is Cousins impact on the program. He's been here since day one with Buddy and they have pushed each other.

Great player and competitor, wasn't going to stay down for long.

I don't think I wanted him benched but dang he frustrated the heck out of me a few times. Glad to see he's out of his slump.

Coaching a game vs watching on TV are so different. When I coached it was like slow motion...hence watching him frustrated me...coaching ya just keep pushing him.

He's a huge key to the team's success

Buddy was crazy good but Cousins was almost better
today

Cousins was consistent from the start and played really well. He steadied us when nothing else was going right with some big shots.

The fact Lon let him shoot that last shot is a big confidence booster for him. He's a big piece of this team and we need him confident and playing well down the stretch.

How about his coach stepping up and handing him the keys to this team? Brilliant move. Real genius. Totally outside the box thinking, IMO...

He is our best pull up guard from 2. Cousins will make your game winning 2 pull up. Hield will make you a 3 to win. Woodard will create for the win.
