I’m excited about this team. I’m even more excited now that the positive reports on players like Kauth and Issanga are filtering in. I was already sold on Harmon, Hill, Iwuakor and the returning players from last year.

This is a very deep team with more size and athleticism than we have seen in sometime. The talent and skills appear to be there too. The only questions for me (aside from Williams of course) are in the areas of team chemistry and how long will it take this group to come together on defense?

Bottom line. I think this team has the potential to be special. But, that’s just me. I have been known to catch the preseason bug Toby alluded to about this time every year.

meh, there's extra reason to be excited this season. Lon is certainly extra excited. I'm very interested to see what the lineup will look like.

Yes, it’s Issanza. I got lazy and went with Issanga without checking the spelling.

Thanks for pointing that out! I wouldn’t want to see Issanza replace Jamuni McNeace as the OU player with the new misspelled name record. Half or more posters on this board spelled Jamuni’s name “McNease” instead of McNeace.

If I misspell a player’s name again, I hope you will not let me get away with it. Nothing I hate worse than misspelling someone’s name.
