J-Muni is going to be a player when he adjusts to the speed of the college game and gains a little more experience. I was impressed by how hard he works and by his fearless approach to the game. He scored 6 points, had 8 rebounds, 1 block and 1 steal in 16 minutes. The best part is that 5 of his 8 boards were on the offensive end.

No way he redshirts this season.

I love his length and athleticism. Brought lots of energy. Will really contribute this year. He's a legit rim protector

He won't redshirt this season because he's already redshirted.

On some close outs, He was missing some 3 point shots by just an inch or 2.
he should avg. 2 blocks a game

I think he can be very productive if he gets the jump hook down. If he takes it to the rime strong and can make 70% of hist FTs , then that will be a great contribution.

Beast on defense. Amazing potential

I agree he looked pretty good but I don't like how many fouls he had. I actually happy didn't notic until they said he had four.

It was his first game; I'm sure he was more than a little amped up. He'll probably experience foul trouble at times this season, but it'll get better as time goes by.

Was really surprised by him. Super quick off the ground. Thought he blocked more than one shot. He was really disruptive on D and fought for boards. He will contribute. Someone was comparing him to dj bennet. He's a much better athlete, has the same or better skills, and has much more upside than dj. I love how this staff recruits.

He definitely has much more potential than DJ. Jamuni moves his feet well and will alter a lot of shots.

The refs were calling touch fouls and caused both teams to be tentative on defense.
I was a little disappointed in our blocking out and rebounding... but I am sure the coaches will discuss a lot of areas of improvement with the film.

Looks like he could be last years Lattin. Hustle points, blocks, a lot of mistakes but going to go hard and will contribute a ton.

He looked good. The future looks good with him and Lattin down low.

He seems to really enjoy being out there. I liked it when he threw the ball away and then sprinted like he was a kid chasing down the ice cream truck to try and block the guys shot.

I watched practice Sat AM and will provide a factoid about Jamuni. There were several exercises and drills the team did to warmup. Jamuni has extreme flexibility in his joints. I was surprised how stiff some of the players were... Jamuni was the most flexible by far.

Who looked a lot different in practice than they did in the exhibition game on Friday night?

I did not stay for the entire practice on Sat. They were implementing some different plays, so it was hard to say. The freshmen will all be involved in finishing plays.

On the past Thursday practice the seniors looked good in defensive drills and full court pressure. The freshmen were not as intense.
I predicted that Buddy and Isaiah will get a lot of steals this season. Buddy had 4 on Friday.
