Interesting. It is my understanding that only "Nike schools" were invited to play in the PK-80 Phil Knight Tournament, where OU plays in late November.

Business is business. Does this mean that the Jordan Brand is paying OU more than Nike is willing to pay?

as others have said Nike owns Jordan brand as in fact UNC (1 of the 2 current jordan brand schools) is playing in the PK80

I've heard next year, as it takes time to do bulk orders like this. Would think it'd be too hard to switch after Christmas because they'd have to do mass orders for local stores to have the same type of gear.

Local stores is also where I first heard about this rumor, as they have to start to place their orders for next year around now, and were told it would be Jordan branded gear.
