Is he going to be at OSU next year or is he going to be in JUCO another year?
Personally I don't want him at OSU. Granted the kid has been through a lot, basically watching his dad die. But he has supposedly punched a high school coach. Got kicked out of that school, and was kicked off his juco team before the coach rethought that decision and made it a 3 game suspension. He has trouble written all over him, plus we are loaded up at his position. I am in the minority, but we have so many truly good kids I don't want travis to take a chance here.

I'm hoping that he and Nash are coming in together
With Karron I think you have to look at the character of the players currently on your team. I feel like if you have good leadership then having one guy like this on your roster isn't a bad thing. On the other hand if you have a young team or no real leadership, then you have to stay away from guys like this.
He didn't qualify coming out of high school. Does the rule not state you have to graduate from a JUCO first before moving on if you didn't qualify coming out of high school? I doubt he graduated in one year.
ESPN said:In the flurry of late signings and de-commits, very little has been said about Karron Johnson, who originally committed to Oklahoma State, but has re-opened his recruiting in hopes of ending up nearer to his hometown of Richmond, VA.
Johnson has looked at the University of Virginia, but according to Adam Zagoria, he's leaning more toward the West Virginia Mountaineers.
"Battling maturity and other issues, Johnson has attended three prep schools: Mount Zion, Patterson and Laurinburg, and two junior colleges: Moberly (Mo.) Area Community College and Gulf Coast." reported Zagoria.
Bob Huggins has never shied away from the challenge of instilling discipline in a young man, so Morgantown could be a great fit for Johnson. The rising junior is known for his on-court intensity and rebounding ability, which fits the WVU system perfectly.
Johnson is still being courted by Iowa State, Cincinnati, N.C. State and Kentucky, so this story is far from over.
