Khadeem Lattin is growing up right before our eyes. What a game for the fifth starter on this team. He finished with 10 points, 14 rebs., 6 blocks, 2 assists and a steal. He also had a chance to win the game in regulation by hitting a free throw, but couldn't pull it off.

Khadeem has a very bright future at OU!

Last season I thought he'd a full year to get to this point. I guess he only needed half a season. He's defensive impact player and is getting more and more comfortable in the offense. I'm sure that FT will haunt him, but I hope it also motivates him because he had a chance to be the a star at OU when he is a senior.

Hit the gym for 1,000 free throws a day and his game will improve even more.

He was great. He is so much better than last year and will improve even more during this year.

Today is the first time you have posted on this board since April. Interesting that you waited until our first loss to express your "appreciation" for this team.

Role player. :)

He's going to be a good one. Rim protector just needs a 15 and in game.

Loved Lattins ability to block and alter shots. That's normally an area Kansas has a big advantage over OU, but not tonight.

We would have been blown out without Lattin. He was a huge presence inside, and the thing is, he's just going to get better. By March he may be a beast.

Man I wanted it to be so fitting for him to make those free throws. He was the unsung hero IMO. Dude balled out, especially on the defensive end. He can become a complete player if he develops a mid-range game.

Exactly. Love the kid. If this group of youngsters will put in the work Woodard and the SRs have, look out. The future of this program is as bright as it's ever been.

Big performance by khadeem. It's a shame that when most people look back on this one they will remember his missed free throw.

Played his guts out. There were actually OU fans ripping him on Twitter...

Does a great job - as long as he's not taking jumpers!

Some guy on twitter was calling him out saying he shouldn't be a starter and that he has no talent. He retweeted all that crap lol. I think he's a motivated young man.

Lattin was the only thing standing between Perry Ellis and 35+ points. Spangler just couldn't handle his length one-on-one in the second half without fouling. He's going to anchor our defense for a good, long while.

My only gripe was his tentativeness when passed to in the high post, especially in overtime. He pump-faked and/or clutched the ball in critical seconds when making a decisive move could have broken down the KU defense. He's still growing into his game, and I can't wait to see what this valuable experience gives to him.
