There is a flaw in this post. Keiton Page is clearly going pro after this season.

With the new conference alignment whereby we play all big 12 teams a home and home, it does not cause me near the anxiety when a team from the former south division picks up a great recruit. Next year, if there is pain, it will be shared equally among the conference.

When the new conference alignment kicks in KU won't win very many Big 12 titles anymore ya know since they don't have the advantage of being in the sorry North or so I've been told.

Ummm, if you compare that to the pre-season accolades of KU, Texas, Baylor & even OU's recruits/players each year or the last couple years and it still doesn't scream OSU as the "front-runners" in the Big 12. I believe KU and Texas would be disappointed if that's all the hype of their players equates too.
Nash as top 5 is very impressive...the rest are still yet to be proven. The #13 juco player in the nation anymore is typically a mid-major guy.
And I love the typical BigABD spin....you call Markel Brown the "#1 player in Louisiana" when in all other cases mentioned you used national rankings.
Why change for Markel Brown you ask? Because in reality Markel Brown isn't even in the top 100 in his class (at least according to Scout). LOL
Jeez, KU and Texas fans scream bloody murder if they sign guys out of the top 100. Gotta love ya Big.

OSU has been getting similar talent to what you've listed above for the last decade to two decades.

Nick Thompson (returning 8-10, 5-6 type forward, projecting just like the juco rankings).


Congrats to OSU, they now have comparable talent to the rest of the top tier Big 12. If Ford is a good coach as he appears to be then they should be competing with the top 4 now and not in the 5-8 slot like he has been.

Saw them 2 weeks ago at practice and they will be pretty good. OSU is physical, and extremely athletic. Should finish in the top 5 in the big 12.
