OU went 0-8 vs the top 5 teams in conference but 6-4 vs the other 6 teams. With the known deficiencies of this team; you have to admit that isn't too bad. Just a little food for thought.

Knowing that we were going through a rebuilding year...I care less about who we beat and more about how hard they played and did the players improve on the season. From the eye test...I would say they played hard til the end and some players improved over the year.

All teams and players are going to improve with practice and playing time. So the question is did our guys improve more or less than other teams during the season?

Using the two Tech games as a measure I would say OU improved less than other teams during the season. But I'm open to other observations.

If we go a little better than 0-fer against the top 5 in the conference next year, lets say one or two wins, we need to almost sweep the bottom of the conference.
