Poor sawyer can dish it out but can't take it.

How quickly he forgets just a few days ago he was strutting around claiming OU basketball was a disaster attracting no candidates while Missouri was sitting pretty.

Just like last summer when he was strutting around rubbing everybody's nose in the fact that Missouri to the Big 10 was a done deal and our poor lifeless programs would be left fighting for scraps.

It's so comical to watch.

I must have missed those posts. In fact, I don't think they exist.

I've read just about everything Sawyer wrote and I didn't see this in any of them.

I will be happy to recant if you show them...but right now I don't think it's true.

While boca didn't recite exactly what Sawyer said, I do remember one of Sawyer's posts being along the lines in which boca was paraphrasing.

And FWIW-- I don't have a problem with Sawyer, just saying I do remember Sawyer saying something similar to what boca was rehashing.
 
If I went to a Missouri board I would expect to get razzed. But of course I have never been to a missouri, osu, iowa state, kansas state, etc board.

the only other teams board I ever visit is our lone peer. Texas.
 
I like fans of other schools being here. It's nice to hear a different perspective where all of you aren't just blowing smoke up each others' wazoos. Plus it allows the minority views to be more easily expressed here since it lets them be a common enemy vice some sooner fan.

I love having fans from other schools here. HoHum, OSUjeff, Dignon, and a few other OSU fans are very good posters, and have been around for a long time. TripleFatty and SYS are excellent, as are Cheno/Grace. DFW is very good as well. Although Cheno and Grace have kinda got run off by a select few who didnt want them around.

I wish we had a fan like Sawyer or one of the OSU guys from every team in the league posting here regularly.

We just need a Tech, A&M, UT, and ISU fan to make it happen.

When they asked me to help them create this board a few years ago, I went around to the other fan sites and tried to get people over here, but didnt have much success. Maybe I will try again before the season starts this year.

I like KU4LIFE. He/she has been posting recently.

It was nice to see the random fans from Memphis, Marquette, Arkansas, etc, even if some of them were crazy.
 
Looking at Frank Haith's record at Miami, how does the guy still have a job? Seems like a guy should be able to get some talent to play at the University of Miami, and ZERO seasons with winning conference records?
 
First, I've never belittled OU's program or bragged about going to the Big 10. Anyone who says either either doesn't read, doesn't remember, or is making stuff up.

Second... I refuse to believe it's Frank Haith. Absolutely no freaking way that's the best Alden could do. He is not a successful head coach. He is not a good recruiter. He doesn't bring anything positive to the table. At least guys like Scott Sutton, Ben Jacobson, etc. have won SOMETHING, albeit in a small conference.

If that's true, I'll be absolutely shocked.
 
Man if it's Haith I would be pissed too. I remember when Capel was fired we had a "coaches you absolutely wouldn't want" thread. My first name was Frank Haith. Hopefully for Mizzou's sake this is like the "Bruce Weber to OU" thing.
 
I really like the idea of Scott Sutton with Eddie on his staff. I'm sure that makes me a bad OU fan, but I always liked Scott.

Grace has been around a bit, especially on the NBA board. I wish he would post more here though. Grace is a great poster. I'd like his insights into some of the next couple year's worth of Oklahoma high school classes as well.
