Austin had an a great game!

He was a distributor in the UTSA game when he set his teammates up to score. We needed his scoring tonight, and he delivered with 32 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. He controlled the tempo, the game and himself, to give us an important conference win on the road. I don’t see how anyone could ask for a better performance!

And, he's living in TCU's head, rent-free!

Hear hear! It was a great all-around game for him.

I couldn't help thinking during the game that we will have MAJOR shoes to fill next season, if Austin and Brady don't choose to come back (and I don't expect that they will).

Austin was awesome. Love a guy that can step up and hit FTs and clutch shots.

He was the 2nd best player last year. Easily the best player this year.

Reaves has a lot of badass in him. I like it. The thing with badasses though is they often also have a little bit of dumbass mixed in; it’s kind of a necessary component to be a badass; so, you live with it.

Outstanding game. Maybe moving to point was what his game needed.

Heard him say on radio postgame that he had always played the point before college and that his biggest issue with the WSU staff is that they never let him play there. He certainly seems comfortable doing it so far.

I've appreciated his approach so far: start by setting up my teammates and then shoulder the scoring load when things stall out.

He missed a free throw. He should NEVER be forgiven!

Totally agree. Incredible the way he's playing within himself. I didn't know he had it in him. He seems to have become really unselfish. Then he brings those clutch 3s when OU needs it. Two game sample, hope it keeps up!

I didn't know OU had it in them, to steal one on the road in conference for this weird second game of the year. Props to all the guys who contributed... Harmon, I think he needs to be mentioned too. Coming off the bench, what a team player. Gives OU a spark. Jalen Hill doing small things but looks improved. Alondes with a couple of clutch plays.

Can't wait to see what Vic can do. Is he coming back for tomorrow's game?

Glad you mentioned the other players, Stikboy! This win was a total team effort. Manek’s 14 and 6, and his clutch put back in close after Williams hustled to get an offensive rebound. Kuath looking like he belonged with 8 points and 6 rebounds (3 of them offensive) and a block.

You were right to give Harmon props. He has been so good coming off of the bench, that may be why Lon is starting Gibson. Every team needs a spark off of the bench.

There’s a lot to like about this team. Team chemistry and leadership appear to be key strengths. I, too, am anxious to see what Vick can do!

I loved his performance yesterday, and I also applaud him because you could see how hard he was trying to control his emotions. He wanted to celebrate a little more, but kept his composure. He drove dagger after dagger into their hearts, and I loved seeing it.

Ugh, I know. I bailed on actively checking Twitter during all of the events of the past several months because no matter how hard I try, it’s just hard ignore the nonsense. I’ll probably get back at it sometime soon.
