I'll be shocked if a Mike Anderson coach team ever wins the Big 12. You just can't play that style of play with not great talent and win. To this point Tad Boyle is totally out-coaching him. Who'd have thought Mizzou would have choked the first game of the Big 12 season?
After watching this game this wasn't a fluke. CU is the better team on their home floor. Boyle is a better coach and CU's guards are too good for Mizzou. If a team has good guards Mizzou struggles.
Burks had 36 and Denmon, English & Dixon COMBINED for 38. LOL
Not to mention Higgins had 18 and Knutson had 13.

I'm not using this one game. This is just another example. Good guards beat Mizzou. You just got blown out by Colorado. They controlled the entire game. You play no defense and your guards almost got doubled up by CU's. Boyle out coached Anderson...without a doubt.
CU played 6 guards and two forwards that are 6'9 and 6'7. They beat you at your own game.

Colorado played well today. Burks and Higgins are as good as any pair of perimeter players in the country. But that's still the same team that lost to Harvard and San Francisco.
Mizzou played a bad game against a team with some good players and lost. It happens to everyone.

If Burkes plays like that all season, they will be trouble for a lot of people.
