Name just one thing you hope improves

Confidence. We have talent. Just got to make sure our ladies know they are talented and can do bug things.

I have to say coaching. After last year I am concerned about being bypassed by better coaching staffs.

It is difficult to know without being there, but maybe that is the most important component that needs to improve, maybe that before the team can and/or will improve in the other areas mentioned. Not sure. Just wanting good things for all.

Agree. I really think Sherri needs to upgrade assistant coaches. New and better ideas for player development and offensive and defensive schemes and better recruiters to compete with the best in womens bb.

You and Gosooner make some very good points. I cannot figure out for the life of me why players are allowed to get by with; lack of movement without the ball, waiting for someone else to rebound the basketball, multiple turnovers without consequences, etc. Every player needs to know what is expected and be held accountable when they don't perform to those standards. As a coach, you do not continue to accept poor performance and play players who are under-performing. Does anyone think Mike Stoops accepts mediocre effort or that he ignores mistakes? Some running backs have all but disappeared at OU because of turnovers. Even Geno benched Stewart for under-performing which sent a strong message to her as well as to the entire team that you will play the game the way I expect you to play it or your butt will be on the bench regardless of who you are. Until Sherri brings that kind of discipline and accountability to her team, I don't really expect to see much improvement in many of the areas that have been mentioned.

She could have benched the whole team, it wouldn't have made a difference. Something was wrong and I think it was a lack of confidence and KNOWING what to do and that would appear to be on the coaches. Maybe they thought things were going well at the first of the season and by December saw they had problems and then were not able to fix. Have no clue. Just throwing out thoughts.
