Name Top 20 HCs...

How many Championships does he have? And, what is his seed this year?

I'll give you his back to backs. The sec is not a great bb conf. Imo he's not top ten. What's he done since then in that weak bb conf he's in?

1) Drew
2) R Williams
3) Kryzewski
4) Calhoun
5) Izzo
6) Self
7) Calipari
8) Donavan
9) Pitino
10) Boeheim
11) Dixon
12) Huggins
13) Stevens
14) Fischer
15) Miller
16) Barnes
17) Few
18) Pearl
19) Brey
20) Rose

He's number one in my heart anyways for being bad enough to lose to OU twice this year.

Thanks for playing...

You can argue all day over Izzo, Williams, K, and company for the 1 spot. However, any list of 20 that does not include Utah State's Stew Morrill is not a very comprehensive list. The man can flat out coach.

WHY???? what have you done for me lately????

Well I guess I interpreted the list wrong then. I thought it was the best active HC. Now that I look at the list again, it seems to be only the coaches in the tourney right now. The OP should have specified because if it's a current "who's the best active college bball coach" list, then Gary Williams deserves to be on it. I'm not campaigning for him to be top 5. Realistically, I'd put him at around #15.

Gary Williams...

667 wins - 376 losses (65%) - 34 years
17 NCAA tourneys - 6 sweet 16s - 1 final 4 - 1 National Championship
18 20-win seasons
etc, etc, etc.

I know he's had a rough year (19-14) but he's only one year removed from the tourney. And yeah he's also getting old, but he's better than a Dave Rose or Rick Barnes (mentored under Gary).

i like Stew as well. guy wins. i was a fan of his when he was at Colorado State. nobody wins at CSU.

Ben Howland has to be in the top 10. Went to the Sweet 16 twice at Pitt, Final Four 3 years in a row.
