nbadraft.net is a fan site it should not be taken seriously at all ...

draftexpress is legit ... .. as is espn.com
 
Plenty of guys in front of him who may not declare.
 
I think Buddy would be best to come back for one more year of college.

Surely you jest Lancelot... Chad Ford was recently discredited for going back and fudging his draft picks to make him more accurate and draftexpress has there high and lows who would take Alec Burke over Klay Thompson, draftexpress would because Burke is better athletically and has more upside than Klay...NOT

naw I'm an OU fan on an OU fan site trying to figure out why you want Buddy to go pro so bad that you are trying to make a website that has countlessly crapped on nearly every year since this board was birthed. If he is quaranteed to go first round by credible people then he should go - yet to see or hear that yet.

Maybe some of us have more experience besides just being a fan and know the nature of the NBA when I have had family members and friends who have played in the league. You want him to stay so bad stop... projecting on me okay read all of my post and I said if he stays he stays and if he goes so be it. Now without fear of controversy or doubt he should leave now, there is nothing left for him to do to get better at this level.

At least they don't go back like Chad Ford and fudge statistics. Tiny Gallon had character issues deal with it. The NBA is weary of character issue guys who are not clear cut lotto picks.

From everyone I have talked to first round is a big stretch, especially if the Duke and Kentucky declare.

I've seen this idea floated by several posters. I simply disagree. There's a lot about Buddy's game that needs improvement (ball handling, shooting, finishing in traffic, etc.) The question is whether he wants to get paid to improve those parts of his game (likely D-League or internationally to start), or to stick around in Norman and work with a former NBA coach and a strong staff on these skills.

I certainly wouldn't quibble with Buddy if he chose either, but I wholeheartedly disagree that there's nothing left for Buddy to improve at the college level.

I work along with an organisation that sends U.S. basketball teams to different countries so I have met a lot of the top tier coaches at the D-1 level. Guys that I know who were in the league John Bagley, Rick Fox, Mycal Thompson a distant cousin, had some dealings with Larry Farmer formerly of the Golden State Warriors then went to coach Loyola Chicago were my very good friend went Javon Goodman google him guy blew his chance at the league his junior season when Indiana wanted him to come out his junior year.

Send over your PI so I can give them name rank and serial number while you are at it.

Post here all you want. But if you stoop to calling people names because they disagree with you, you won't be around much longer.

For the record, every OU fan on this board wants what is best for Buddy. That definitely includes me. We have also seen a number of former OU players get bad advice and end up struggling to make it to the NBA via the D-League or playing in obscurity overseas somewhere. Doesn't mean it's a bad idea either way, just that it's a lot harder to get noticed when you are not drafted high enough to make an NBA roster.

No matter what Buddy decides to do, I'll support his decision. He is and will always be one of my favorite Sooners. That doesn't mean I think he is ready to take that next step right now. I could be wrong, of course. But, so could you, and it's his future you're playing with here.
