No big upset predictions for today's games. That said.....

I could see upsets in the first two games of the day (Santa Clara and Akron).

Be interesting to see how Miami Ohio plays tonight against Tennessee.

Northern Iowa might can hand with St. Johns.

Will Purdue flame out early again?

Going to root for the Baptists out of California over KU. lol

I've got Cal Baptist and Hofstra today (partly because I believe it's possible and partly because I was picking St Johns and Tech through to the sweet 16 anyways)

Morning plays:

Kentucky in a ML Parlay from yesterday
Akron +7.5 (Inflated basketball logic)
Arizona -29.5
Tennessee State +25.5

Things I've found that work for me in picking upsets in my brackets most years. Pick little schools that 1) win a LOT and 2) have a guard that can get a bucket whenever he wants. The other - and this is arguably the biggest one in my opinion - is to pick AGAINST the high seeds you don't like rather than FOR the small schools you do. I took High Point, Cal Baptist, and Hofstra because all of those games fit my criteria. Didn't like Wisconsin, Kansas, or Alabama. They all felt really volatile. And the low seeds all have very good guards that can take over a game. Obviously the odds all 3 hit are low, but I did start 1 for 1 so I'll take it

I’m a big foul guy but in that particular situation, forcing a team with no timeouts to bank in a shot just inside halfcourt is a pretty high percentage play. 29/7/6 in regulation for Oweh. What a stud.
Santa Clara was trying to call a timeout.

If you are Santa Clara, you gotta keep the hack-a-Garrison play in your back pocket. Don't let him get a layup.
