New Commit?

I hear she is a cousin or some relation to our Williams we just picked up, how awesome it would be if she came to OU to play with family!

Any other good prospects we have our eyes on anyone? For 2018, i'm not as interested in 2019 just yet.

Today is the 1st day you can contact 2019 prospects... OU is in on some big time talent in 2019...

I was thinking of Ashten Prechtel 6'5" 2019 from Colorado Springs. Might help with Jordyn Merritt 6'2" 2020. Her mother congratulated Williams on her decision and follows several OU coaches on twitter.

I saw an interview with Madison Williams and Christyn Williams. Looked like they were on the same AAU team and friends.
I doubt OU can get in the that Christyn Williams race at this point. But Madison and Tatum could pay off in 2019/2020 with other kids wanting to play with them. Especially friends from the AAU circuit.

I have seen a couple of articles that stated that Christyn Williams just wanted to get out of Arkansas, more or less to see the rest of the world. I also saw one article that indicated that she specifically excluded Arkansas due to the reaction of someone or the school or the boosters (unclear) taking a position on a player kneeling (Kaepernick?) which disturbed her. As a result, she wanted to go north. Yet, I think two of her choices are Texas and Tennessee.

ESPN updated their rankings. Williams dropped to number 77. That's a big drop. Not sure I'd trust their rankings though.

I agree, but looking at the 2019 class Ou has a chance to bring in some serious talent... Landing Amihere and Haley Jones alone would help take OU back to a top 10 national ranking... Sucks that #3 Sharkia Austin was looking at OU at one time, she would have been a big help.

From #25 to #77 after she commits to OU? Enough said about the Hoopgurlz twerp.

I would not trust any ranking of women's basketball where a recruit dropped from
25 to 77.

How could you possibly trust either rating. Just logically.
The holes are enough to drive a truck thru.

I did see one recent post, from whence I don't know, that indicated that Prospect Nation was the consensus of eleven guys whereas the ESPN rankings were the opinions of one North Texas guy. Seems to like Baylor and Texas, but not OU.

Doumbia and Morris will both be at Arkansas this weekend for official visits...
