There were some anxious moments there for a while in the 2nd half.....but the defense took over and we finally hit some open shots. We also rebounded much better in the 2nd half. Doolittle was fantastic tonight. I like him and Buford coming off the bench to provide some offensive spark.

That lineup with strong-Moore, James, Odomes, Doolittle & McNeace was a very athletic and had really good ball movement...

Doolittle is the smoothest true freshman I've seen in years at OU.
VERY poised and under control . Looks (physically) like a jr.
Just amazed in his attitude on the court , doesn't have the deeer in the headlights that 95% of freshman do.

This team is loaded in its bottom half with a ton of athletes . THey will make deep run in a couple of years with this corp of guards .

If we add our instate PG , wow.

Buford has got to start getting a lot of minutes. Love the new guys but he looked in control out there while these other guys are up and down. Wish Kruger wouldn't have sat him the entire 2nd half after having a good 1st. Doghouse still?

His strength is as a pick and pop PF. By conference season, Freeman shouldn't be getting minutes over Buford IMO. The PFs getting most of the minutes should be Doolittle and Buford.

Shepherd's minutes will also likely start to wane.

Yeah I agree. Freeman has a great stroke on the 3 but I haven't seen much else from him to warrant significant minutes. Buford was a solid contributor on last years team, I think Manzer said he was our leading minutes guy off the bench last year. He needs to be in a lot more. Doolittle is a stud, love his game.

That Jordan Davis kid is very good. The announcers were correct, he looks like a mini russell westbrook with the way he gets to the basket. If he were a couple inches taller he would be a lottery pick
