Welcome sight to see Coach give CJ the hook early......I don't know why he has such an attitude.....he was terrible last year and hasn't earned any extra latitude this year.

Hoping McGusty can find his game......

Sloppy game so far.
 
Really tough start offensively...4-3 UTSA at the under 16 timeout. I'm worried about Christian James shot...0-2 but missing wide left or wide right.
 
Who the heck at SoonerSportsTV decided it was a good idea to have Jessica Cooty blathering on (or interviewing someone) for three of the first five minutes of every game?

I don't know how it is down Oklahoma way, but here in NYC, OU broadcasts appear in a letterbox that is easily 1/3rd smaller than my TV screen. My TV screen's not very big, so that double-window thing they do to accommodate Ms. Cooty makes the game really hard to watch (and Ms. Cooty's prattling doubles the pain). I don't mind her pregame or at halftime, but these lengthy segments in-game -- especially in the first five minutes -- are maddening.
 
Awful start. Turnovers and a ton of missed 3's that we seem content to keep jacking instead of attacking the basket.

Yeah, last game it was about football. Ridiculous
 
Under 12 timeout...and it's 12-12. Not much positive to report. We're 3-14 from the field including 2-10 from beyond the arc. We also have 5 turnovers, but getting most of our defensive rebounding opportunities.
 
McNeace comes in and immediately jacks up a terrible baseline jumper over 2 defenders. Just all kinds of out of sync.
 
totally our of sync.

Here's my worry....the other 9 guys will just wait in TY to get it going..
 
I would pump fake JM every time...dude loves his jumping ability...
 
In 12+ minutes of game time, we've taken (13) 3s.....thus we are on pace to shoot over (40) 3s.....:facepalm

You might be able to get away with that against bad teams, but that is not a prescription for success against quality teams.
 
Ok, we're starting to make some shots...couple nice ones by Jumani. We're still only 7-21 from the field. It's now OU leading 22-17 at the under 8 timeout with UTSA going to the foul line.

yup...love TY but sometimes I think his "quick 3" selections are not the best
