Those orange seats are a disgrace, they make OU look really bad on tv! How in the world did we get orange seats in our place? I have ask this question from friends in the athletic department in the past and no one knows.
 
Simply put, the people that run the basketball program are flat-out idiots.
 
Yeah, they need to just spend the money to replace them ASAP.

They are not as orange though as the Aggies seats up north,lol. I turned their game on today and was amazed that about 7,000 empty seats there.

Nothing can really dispute this as far as I'm concerned.

Now, I'm not ready to say Joe C. is an idiot but what he's done to the basketball program is embarrassing. He should be embarrassed and fix the situation, whatever that takes.

Note, I don't think he should be fired, as does Sid, but he should be getting some heat from big donors, regents (they probably don't care), and Boren to rectify the situation.
 
Anyone that thinks Joe C. should be fired is a complete and utter idiot.
 
We really are playing pretty good today, KU just can't miss.

Joe C. was great and is losing a lot of luster in my eyes. The basketball program is an embarrassment. I also don't agree with the constant raises that he gives Stoops every time Bob flirts with another program. Don't get me wrong, I'm 100% pro-Stoops. Joe C. is replaceable and it's getting closer than he thinks if he continues to run programs into the ground.
 
I am not complaining about our team, they are doing well in the first half, better than I thought they would now if only the second half is as good or better, needs better but the orange seats are still a disgrace.
 
It shows how far OU Basketball has fallen when Kansas fans make up half the crowd at LNC.
 
Please keep it down about us being a disgrace. Everyone knew that this was going to happen when you lose 3 mcds all Americans. And you thought at least two of them were going to be here this year. It is just is difficult to recruit a new roster at the end of the recruiting period. As fans, we need to applaud the effort given by our over matched team and continue to support them to show recruits and current players that we support them. Let's give the coach a chance and if he does not build some people around fitz and Clark to win next year then it is on him and his staff. I agree that it is on him and his staff that they recruited the players that screwed us, but I think that it is a learning experience for a young coach that has to find his way. This was the problem with hiring Capel in the first place is that he had not gone though these things and really was never in a position to recruit big time players at vcu. Capel was lucky to get griffin (he did well to get him even with Taylor here) and have quick success that allowed him to be in demand thus being able to demand higher pay. I believe Capel has done a great job this year getting a lot out of the team that most every night is out matched talent wise. Please stay supportive of our team and think how you would feel if you were Cade Davis, Caesar, Phillip Jurick, or Cameron Clark when you write something.
 
Yeah, I haven't heard anyone really say for Joe to be fired as well.

I do believe he rushed to judgement a little too soon on going all in on Capel. However, his good judgements FAR outweigh his bad ones.

Joe is as good as they come. He is going to make mistakes just like anyone else will. To add to this, Joe has a lot of variable to consider and a lot more at stake than any of us do to just rush to judgement.

Is the solution inevitable, in my opinion, Yes. With that said, in the end, I believe Castiglione will do what is best for the program.

Couldn't have said it better myself. It's a shame this team doesn't have the talent of last years. They play a whole hell of a lot harder. I think the worst thing that happened was the four game winning streak. If we could've spread them out a little, the teeth gnashing wouldn't be quite as bad.
 
Sorry, I missed the part about Sid wanting Joe out.
