Noah Hartsock from Bartlesville. Dropped 23 tonight in BYU's win over Iona. Averaged 16 and 5 for BYU this year. Good for him.

Is this a surprise to anyone who saw him in high school?

absolutely not, His brother will be a Sr. at Bartlesville next season and is very good as well. He committed to BYU a few weeks ago.

Mormons are good at sports.

Are they mormons? Or does the younger one like BYU because his brother is there?

I would guess the former, but Oklahoma doesn't have a lot of mormons like other states (Missouri, Iowa, Utah, etc.).

They are Mormon.

OSU said if they would have know he was going on his mission right out of HS they would have offered him. I watched him DOMINATE Keith Clark in the state tournament one year. He just didn't have any help. IT was something like 30 to 6 in points and double up Keith in rebounds too.
