*******OU-George Mason Gameday Thread*******

I love this defense, but that game was hard on the eyes if one is a big fan of offense. I may be off by a basket, but I only counted one two-point shot made that was more than 5 feet from the basket - Cousin's awkward shot off the backboard. We just missed jump-shot after jump-shot all game long. We'll find out Saturday if that was just an aberration. It will have to be if we're planning on winning.

Yeah real ugly! Was Spangler "under the weather"?? He just didn't seem to play with his usual energy yesterday.

Guys not a good looking game but consider that schools out, no students, not many butts in the seats, no noise, just back from Christmas break, and finals. Come Saturday you will see the real OU and lets hope there are butts in the seats that can make some home court noise.

I thought the crowd was decent given that school is out, it was New Year's Eve, and the weather was crappy. The weather forecast does not look good for the next few days. I just hope the roads are not iced over on Saturday.

A Saturday afternoon game with a 3:00 p.m. tip-off should be perfect timing for interested fans to be inside the LNC. Please be there if you can. What better way to start the new year.

OU beat a solid mid major team by 20 points and people arenot happy. VCU is a similar program. Our prior coach lost that team by 13. Be happy. OU has a good team and an adult as the head oach

One of the reasons our offensive production is down is that we are probably forcing the opposing offense to take longer to get a shot. Also we get a little junky when we get a big lead. Some of it is Kruger working on depth and experimenting with combinations. He pretty well has the rotations worked out. Just has to get Booker back into game shape.

The good news is that we can win that big when we miss that many short range jumpers.

Looks like DJ and Lattin are developing into solid backups. Thought it was Lattin's best overall game. He looked more comfortable to me.
