OU hosting a "first look" event on Sunday, October 16

The OU men's basketball team will host a "first look" event on Sunday, Oct. 16 at 6 p.m. at Lloyd Noble Center. Details to come.

Dang, my hungover ass will have to leave Kansas earlier than expected....I will have to cut the stripers and cocaine, provided by KU boosters in blue mock turtlenecks, in the VIP room in Moon Bar with current and future KU basketball players passed out under wads of cash and half-lit blunts a little short. Damn.

From a letter I received Tuesday to "Dear Season Ticket Holder" from the men's basketball program at OU:

"Practice will begin on Friday, October 14th. Our practice times will be 2-4:30. Please make sure you call the office to confirm our practice dates prior to coming. The office numbers ar 405-325-4732 or 405-325-8302."

From this it sounds like, for the time being, practices will be open.
