Have you people looked at Iowa States record at home over the last three years. One of the toughest places to play in the country. Cousins keeps his mouth shut they don't win that game. Momentum and crowd reaction started then. Kruger should have benched his ass.

If our team doesn't have the mental toughness to over come a technical then you can kiss any tournament hopes down the drain.
Cousins t did not lose this game. Everybody knew isu would make a run and we have seen this team the last couple of years blow huge leads and choke. They just can't handle the pressure and coach can't make in game adjustments during runs

This. If this team doesn't possess the intestinal fortitude to withstand momentum in a tough game....well, then March is going to be tough sledding. I can't decide which was worse in the 2nd half.....Kruger, our defense, or our juevos.

Guys, it's not like they swept us. Remember we stomped this team in Norman. We put up a good fight. I wouldn't say the Cousins tech lost us the game. What cost us the game was Monte Morris catching fire and Niang getting back into rhythm. Again, with our standing in the best conference in the country, we could take on any team come tourney time.

Don't let the strength of the Big 12 fool you into thinking just because a team finishes near the top they are elite. There are no elite teams in the Big 12 this year and based on what I've seen the Big 12 is just as likely to have a bunch of teams bow out early as having 4 teams make the round of 16.
During tourney time clutch guard play and solid defense/rebounding down the stretch of games are what get you wins. And of course matchups.

Going in with a big lead at the half is a curse and any coach will tell you so. It makes mounting any enthusiasm for the second half damn near impossible. All ISU needed was the slightest glimmer of success combined with their grit and they were destined to have a big run in the second half.
There's NO WAY Kruger didn't know that was coming. I knew it was coming. Any fan of the game knew it was coming. The only people who apparently didnt know were the Sooner players.
Kruger did a HORRID job at the half and beyond in coaching that game. Of course the lack of any execution belongs to the players, but I lay this loss directly at the feet of the coach. Not sure what he said at the half but it was wrong and his adjustments (or lack thereof) were also wrong. The Mayor literally embarrassed coach Kruger into total shame in the second half and I sure hope Kruger takes a lesson from it.
