OU is 4-1, and the challenges will keep coming. Only two of the next 8 games are at the LNC in Norman.

> Dayton or Virginia (3rd Place Game in Bahamas)
> North Texas (Home in Norman)
> Notre Dame (MSG in NYC)
> Wichita State (Chesapeake Arena in OKC)
> Southern California (BOK Center in Tulsa)
> Creighton (Home in Norman)
> @ Northwestern (Big-10 Opponent)
> @ Kansas

I am hopeful the Sooners keep playing hard and that we see continuous improvement throughout the season.

OU will have the hardest schedule in the country again. We should have taken a page out of Auburn’s book last season and scheduled pure trash until conference play.

Yeah, it’s a little tough for my liking

Though it’s what got us in the tourney at 17-13 (or whatever we were)

Everything except @KU is possible but lots of difficult games. Winning tomorrow would really help. Dayton is currently battling UVA in the second half and they have a home crowd there. It is going to be a tough game no matter which team. 4-2 is OK but we will need to win several close games in that upcoming schedule. 10-4 after 14 would be incredible and I would be elated with 9-5.

These are all winnable up to the Kansas game. 10-4 would be a nice record. Go .500 in conference and we are in the tournament.

6-2 or 5-3 over the next 8 would be a big success.

It appears that some of those teams may not be anywhere near as tough as they've been in recent seasons, and were expected to be. Too early to know if that is true or not, but it appears to be the case as of today, which could bode well for OU's record in those games.

If that is the case and we go 5-3 or better through this stretch then we would have one of the strongest resumes through non con. Having wins against average P5 schools looks a lot better than a bunch of Maryland eastern shore type wins. Let’s start today, Sooners!

Disagree 100%. The team wouldn't be ready for conference play, wouldn't be ready for the NCAA tournament, & wouldn't have a resume that would get the team in the tournament anyway.

Those who want a soft non- conference schedule obviously forget that that was the reason that Oklahoma State didn't make the tournament last season.

Plus, recruits want to play games on TV against good competition. They don't want to play Oral Roberts and NE Colorado Tech.

Think 3-5 at best,1-7 worst.

Well, that 1-7 option is already covered. I guess from this point on, that makes 0-7 the worst scenario. (cough)

OU is now 5-1. Only two of the next 7 games are at the LNC in Norman.
