Like I’ve said before, it’s not that we lose it’s how we lose. I’m fine if we hustle, play hard, and just come up short. But when we are lazy, don’t rebound, and don’t play defense, it’s hard to tolerate.

Wow, ISU only shot 7 free throws to our 24! They were 5-7 and we were 17-24. Crazy. The difference in the game is we only had 44 fg attempts and they had 67... 67! They outrebounded us 35-25. We had a pathetic 3 offensive rebounds, 2 of those in garbage time, and they had 12! Only 6 guys on our team had a rebound. They had 11 guys grab at least one rebound. They had 17 assists, we had 9.

This was just about as thorough a thrashing as you will ever see.

Gotta put the blame where it belongs. Our players are as good as Iowa St players. This kind of loss falls on the coaches.

OU has zero inside game and when not hitting threes they are going to lose. Wait till we play WVU with their two inside guys. It will be ugly.

That improvement you speak of will have to come from four guys (Williams, Kauth, Iwuakor and Hill) who had a grand total of 4 points and 5 rebounds between the. The only reason I have a shred of confidence they might improve is the realization they can’t get much worse.
