OU has the best scoring offense in the Big 12 (87)
KSU has the best scoring defense in the Big 12 (59.8)

OU has the worst scoring defense in the Big 12 (79.2)
KSU has the worst scoring offense in the Big 12 (67.2)

OU is high octane (tempo rated 9th in the nation according to Ken Pomeroy)
KSU is slow and plodding (tempo rated 317th)

The team that imposes its tempo most effectively is going to win this game. The good news is that they don't have a host of big men like KU does. We won't see as many mis-matches in the post, which will help us defensively...if we play with the same desire as we saw against ISU, we've got a good shot to pull this off.

If the game were at OU, Iwould say you guys win hands down. At KSU it will be a tossup. The problem with an offensive based team is usually they play a little more tenative on the road.

I agree with this. Each team will have the upper hand at home. I think OU has a chance at KSU but KSU should be favored.

Another big factor in this game will be how the ever wishy-washy Big 12 refs decide to call the game.

If they actually enforce the new rules, OU will have an advantage. If they swallow the whistles and revert back to the "old rules" (like I've seen them do multiple times this year) then KSU will have the advantage.

I think OU is the better team and will win the game. I think KSU beat OSU because it was the first or one of the first games without Cobbins. That is a huge loss for OSU and it takes a while to figure out a rotation following a loss like that. It was also OSU first conference road game.
