OU moving up

Just keep improving and slowly move up the ladder, got a long way to go, but I'm likin' it.

The coaches poll is garbage. Did you see that they have UConn ranked ahead of ND, even though ND won the head-to-head matchup? Also, they have us ahead of UCLA, who beat us on our court and has lost the same number of games as us. LOL!

At this point in the season, you can't go by head to head matchups any more. If you were to use that everything would be whack. Duke would be #1. Tied for #2 would be UCONN, Stanford, Baylor, ND. And that is just the top of the rankings. The rest would be even more screwed up.

Oklahoma beat CSN, while UCLA lost to CSN on their home court.

The polls will become more accurate by February 1st but right now none of them are all that reliable.

My point is that the AP is more plausible, while the Coaches Poll is not. Next!

I'm not sure either of the polls are truly plausible at any point in the year. A more realistic viewpoint is to consider them as broad indicators with an error margin of + or - 4 spots.
