Closed both the first half and end of the game pretty good. That was the difference in the end.

Calling two timeouts to set up two different offensive sets was something I've never seen from Lon . 2 baskets off those timeouts too.
Woodard was the difference maker but Lon actually coached/ called the shots in a tight game

Last year he lost a few games with his lack of clutch play. Jordan's played well in conference play for the most part.

Hopefully it will give him some more confidence to perform at a higher level and come to the realization that you don't have to wear #24 or #11 and so on to be the difference maker.

Some people are very critical of Jordan and I don't understand why. I would respect their comments more if they had the same criticism for everyone on the team but that doesn't happen with a couple of guys that post to this board. Everyone on the teams plays a part in a win and a loss. Couple of people only pick out the negatives of Jordan even when he plays well. It is very sad considering he is born and raised in Oklahoma and is probably the youngest player on the team.

Early in the year he was forcing thing and really not playing well. But he's played at least solid since conference play began.

I think it is because he is a below average shooter and finisher. Also, he hasn't improved from last year it seems. He is still young but he isn't an elite talent. People like to see elite PGs on their team.

I like Woodard but not as much as most on this board. I think on a final four team, he would been a great backup pg.

Spangler is probably the least criticized player but after that favoritism has not prevented the other players from being ridiculed on a normal basis when their game has been off.

Point guards and coaches in basketball and quarterbacks and coaches in football.

Good grief. Really? You mean like last night where Texas got offensive rebound after offensive rebound? Or fouling his man with under 30 seconds left up 4?

I'm not picking on him, but you see what you want to see. I'll admit Jordan had a slower start offensively this year than I'd like, but he's not the only one who's been up and down.

Here's what I know about Jordan. He's just a sophomore, he's the only one who can consistently bring the ball up the floor, our half court offense is in shambles when he's not on the floor and he's played really solid defense for the majority of the year.

Some people need to watch the guys play and realize how good these guys are and how brutal the Big XII is night in and night out.
