OU - Texas

On paper, this should be one of the best games at the Big 12 tourney. In our first meeting with the Horns, Aaryn went off for 37 points as OU lost a close one in overtime by a score of 79-74. Texas had 4 players who scored 13 points or more.

In the second meeting, OU was without Aaryn who sat out with a concussion. Morgan had a really good game with 15 points, 9 boards, and 8 assists. Gioya also had a good game. OU managed to hold home court, winning 64-63.

This game means a lot to both teams and I expect both to play as hard as they possibly can. It should be fun.

I like OU's chances against Texas. Maybe TCU can beat W Virginia. W Virginia has been a problem for OU. I could see OU on the last day. Should be alot of OU fans in attendance.

Yes, and that should give the Sooners an advantage over the Horns. I really want to win this game as I never want to lose to Texas in anything and I believe it would give us an advantage in recruiting.

I think that is probably the lineup we will see but I wouldn't mind seeing Kornet or Sharane come off the bench and let Portia start.

Enempkali might make mincemeat out of an inexperienced defender. She is a difficult enough matchup for someone a bit shorter, but experienced.

During the Senior Night festivities, the players said they aren't finished yet. Tonight will go a long way to telling how long they have left. With a win tonight, they might be in line to get a #7 or 8 seed. With a loss, they are probably in at an 11 to 13 seed. It makes a difference.

They should have beaten Texas twice. A couple of miracle threes saved Texas in Austin, banking in shots from the side? I think both teams are at full staff tonight, and I like ours better than theirs. But, we have to relax and shoot.
