+++++++OU vs. Iowa State Game Thread+++++++

10-0 run for ISU and 5 turnovers for us the last 3 mins of the half.

Jeebus, what I wouldn't give to watch one half of competent basketball. Just so many silly and unforced mistakes.:facepalm .....it's like this team just wants to antagonize us all.

Why put in the second string with two minutes left in the half???

After the first string ran a 9-0 run in a few minutes. why sub?

Substitution decisions have been bizarre all season.

On a positive note, Doolittle has 7 boards, James has 6, and Lattin has 5. OU is winning the rebounding battle 27-18.

I am so utterly baffled at how bad we are playing...it really just is hard to fathom. I just sit and shake my head.

Coming into this season, I think everyone expected this team to struggle because of their inexperience. The 2 big problems I have:

1. This team is NOT getting better as the season progresses

2. It looks like OSU, TTech, KState, & TCU all look to be better coached teams. This may be a subjective observation, but I certaintly didn't expect to watch Beard & Underwood and wonder what they would do with OU players.

With that said, I support Lon and expect him to get this turned around next year.

Freeman, shepard, no action until wv game now played more in 2 games than the other 23 combined. That tells me kruger is looking at next year...wish he thought of that during the first 7 game skid...

Along with the Woodard situation and James underachieving, that's one thing that has stood out the most to me this year.

Freeman played 20 minutes in the Big 12 opener vs Baylor, quite a bit vs TCU then nothing.

Just my thoughts but James needs to be on the bench he is forcing things not relaxed.

He has 4 points and 6 rebounds, and is a decent defender. He's actually having a better game than McGusty is.... who sometimes makes up his mind to do something regardless of how the defense is playing him.

Interesting that Strong-Moore started the half. I believe that's the first time Lon's changed the starters at half this season.

Strong-Moore is playing an inspired game in front of his family and friends.
