Okay, so I started making a new thread with a chart, etc....and my dumbass lost it all. Starting over. Yay. Complete newb.

Now that South Dakota State's season is over, I have my eye on this kid for the second offseason in a row. He's a kid OU had conversations with last year and he's been put on Trilly's potential portal(ers) list. Hypothetically, he'd step onto OU's campus and become instantly their best player (duh). Plays bigger than 6'4.

That said, he is from Lawrence...so you could see Kansas possibly getting involved as well.

Thanks @Moneyball. As I posted the tweet, I had to head to the back. It was actually an imaging center.

Anywho, I think it's OU doing their due diligence. With this specific kid, he averaged 19 ppg. Someone OU would likely add? No. Someone worth looking into? Sure.

I don't hate the approach. In fact, I think it's a huge plus to know the coaches are looking everywhere they can. It's a good thing.

The Minix kid who averaged 20 ppg at Morehead State - NAIA
Dalton Knecht (SEC POY) - juco and then Northern Colorado (who might as well be D2)

and on and on. Talent can come from anywhere, IMO. Especially the way covid happened. There were a lot of overlooked kids, much more than usual.

Sure but i cannot imagine the % of success is very high going that low of level..

He's going to be patient to see who OK State hires first...he may take visits in that time frame. Would expect OU to be one of them, obviously.

I don't even care if we get these guys, just love that we are "allegedly" contacting players. Putting in the work. We are the Arkansas this year. Just all contacts to everyone. No matter what.

There is just no progress in the program right now. I’m sure the players feel it more than anyone.

And it’s more than not making the tournament. The last month of the season was awful.

I semi understand not playing in the NIT, but if it was led by the players that terms me a lot. Kids want to play.. kids want to showcase their talent… especially if they are thinking transfer…that concerns me.

Are the guys “done” with moser? If ya don’t think players talk and have attitudes about coaches you’re living in the dark.
