I’ve long defended Moser. Honestly not sure I’ve said a negative thing about him on this board, but it’s over.

I don’t think Joe C. fires him mid-season because that’s usually not how he operates, but it wouldn’t surprise me if he pulls the plug soon.

We need a new basketball coach and we desperately, desperately need a shakeup in the upper echelons of our athletic department.

All the fundraising and extension criticisms are well-founded . His choice for NIL collective leaders hasn't been good at all either. Going for 0/2 in the last two rev hires might be the nail in the coffin for Joe C's job. The list is getting longer by the day but.....

He is not a dictator AD and to that extent, I think some lack of oversight on sub-hires have been subpar. The narrative that he has overstepped football hires is driven by Captain 405 and doesn't have any sufficient backing. Do yourself a favor and unsubscribe from the credit card-stealing clown. Any of the other three sites that cover OU are 10x better, spend that money there.

I haven’t followed or subscribed to any pay sites and I don’t get any info from that idiot captain.

Keita is a real mystery. Coach didn't even let him participate in the pre-season scrimmage I watched (over 2 1/2 hours long). Anyone know what the deal is with him. Impressive looking athlete. If they don't think he can play then why aren't they processing him? Can't understand why he wouldn't want to transfer to somewhere he can play, even at a lower level. Nothing makes sense on that kid.

Stop trying to raise your kid to be an athlete. Send him towards a coaching career in a major sport and if he gets near the top level all he has to do
with hiring practices of late is to fail after a couple years, get fired and become an instant millionaire.

he's a senior now....
some are pointing out how good oweh is suddenly.....he's a junior....players get better as they get older.
yeah.....it's too bad moser can't keep players around long enough for them to get better.
it's too bad moser can't seem to coach well enough win games/get to the tournament/keep players around.

I've also always wondered about Keita NEVER seeing the floor. I refuse to believe he's worse than what we have, but he must be, right? regardless, pretty sure almost everyone besides maybe local kid Forsythe will transfer out.

so noland/cortes/jacob played for other coaches. so have a lot of other players you didn't mention.
but not all of them have made significant improvement in their games. probably a small minority actually did.
and those are the ones we knew had talent to begin with.
godwin's game peaked a few years ago....and not because of moser.

I know he graduated, but Soares was the type of guy that you need in the SEC. He really wasted a good team last year.
