When is William's decision? If we miss out on him, how much of a step down would Chargois be? Are we in on any other bigs besides those?

from the kstate loss on Reaves averaged 16 attempts a game and shot around 30% .
I don’t think it’s coincidence they closed out the season with a 2-6 record and easily their worst stretch of basketball .
Again Reaves was easily their best player but I don’t think that “style” of basketball will always equate wins .

He shot 45 percent during the stretch beginning with KSU, and better than 40 percent from three. Both outstanding numbers for a guard.

Chargois would be solid as a backup. We could get Williams and still take Chargois in my mind.

He's not much of an offensive player. Low % for a post, high turnover numbers, only 65% from free throw line. Good defender and rebounder. If he came it would be to finish his career at an Oklahoma school with a chance to play in the NCAA tournament.

Tanner seems like Spangler with a better outside shot and stronger finish inside. Those KU guys were bouncing off him like ping pong balls. And the younger Groves appears to be a good finisher mid range and around the hoop as well as a pretty nice outside shot. I think they will both help quite a bit.

I think Harkless would have started at point over Harmon if they both came back and Lon stayed. Not downing Harmon because he was a solid guy and could have been better if he returned. Outside shot improved a lot.

Harkless is kind of wild with the ball but I think he is our point unless we pick up a good one. A different offensive approach will also make a difference. Moser will run a more disciplined offense than Kruger.

I appreciate being objective and realistic on the part of some posters. Means much less when being objective is consistently negative.

Exactly. I'm sorry, but if Harkless is our point I'm not at all excited by that. Very valuable player but not at point.

I would take physical rebounding and good post defense as a backup for a year. OU needs better rebounders in the frontcourt.

Looking at Loyola stats, they're top 7 minute guys averaging over 1 asst with no one over 3.2. Would a play maker point be less important in Moser's offense? Of course you need multiple guys to handle against pressure without TO's.

Jaxon robinson. Name to know. Former Ada Hs player.

This would seem like an odd pickup to me. Similar to Jacob Groves. Didn't show much at ATM, and doesn't necessarily fit a need for us since we need post depth and veteran PG. If we're losing Garang, it makes more sense.

Reclassified when he shouldn’t have.

I’m intrigued by jaxson Robinson. He was one that I really wanted to land out of high school.

That's good research Darwin and I was thinking Mosher's offense might not need the traditional point guard as much. I'm not anti Harkless, I just wouldn't want him to be a traditional point ball handler.
