How great is it to have so many guys who can come in and board and body up. I don't remember the last time we had that kind of quality depth.

I have said the same thing more than once. This is a VERY deep team, with quality depth at every position.

It's going to get better, too. Our younger guys are making mistakes now, but that will improve as the season progresses. I like how fearless and aggressive they play.

Agreed. They all seem to complement each other very well. Manyang found himself out of position on defense a couple of times but that will improve as the season goes along.

I hope Kruger puts Manyangin earlier and keeps him in longer for 2 reasons: to keep Spangler fresher and to give the big man more experience. I think he will be good given time.

I think Manyang is still getting into shape.

I noticed Buford only played the last minute of mop-up duty. He needs to quit playing so tentatively or he will get left behind.

We have some great depth, but Spangler was the only one ripping down rebounds. I hope the rest of the guys can improve.

We were out rebounded 48 to 42. With the athletes we have, there is a lot of improvement needed.

We were out rebounded because we held them to 25% shooting and so many of their 3s were long rebounds back out to their backcourt. Many of their 3-point shots were desperation shots.

I'll take being out rebounded if it means we stay 20% better shooting than our opponent. The offense always has a better than 50% chance of corralling the long rebound.

Wisconsin starts last years starting Power forward at small forward ..

they are one of the best rebounding teams in the country ..
