OU plays the bottom 4 (2 home/2 away) + @ISU and KU

ISU plays WVU, @OSU, @UT, Baylor, @KSU, OU, and @TCU ... Unless we beat them on the road, they will end with no more than 6 losses.

OSU has three games against the bottom three, 2 against WVU, and ISU at home. They might only lose one more game (@WVU).

WVU plays Kansas twice, OSU twice, @ISU, UT, and @ Baylor. They might not win again.

Baylor plays @KU, @ISU, @UT, @ Tech, then WVU and Tech at home. 2 losses at the least, leaving them at 10-8 on the year.

A 3-3 finish for us will land us the four seed ...
A 4-2 finish could tie for second or third ...
A 5-1 finish will lock up second ...
A 6-0 finish COULD tie for 1st ...

Fun knowing that every game matters from here out.

I want so badly for the Kansas game in Norman to be for the Big 12 Championship. Wouldn't that be awesome? That would be the biggest game in Norman in years. Our basketball fan base isn't the best right now, but I bet the atmosphere would be pretty electric.

Hope the team just takes one game at a time, though. Beat KSU on Saturday.

You know realistically even if we lose @ISU, we still would have a shot if KU does what I think it'll do. I'm fairly confident they will lose @WVU and I believe @KSU will be a tough game as well. Also, remember that BU's zone gave them fits in the first game and should have lost that game. You never know of course, but I will predict that KU will lose at least two more (@WVU & @OU). And I agree with your desire to have that game be for all the marbles...

Is that Big 12 season simulator thing still around?

I haven't had a reason to use it in a while... :ez-laugh:

Thanks for the post! Out of the teams listed, I see it panning out like...

-OU: 5-1/worst case 4-2. I'd like to say we win out, but I think we will drop one either @ISU or vs KU. Tough to win 6 in a row when those two games are in there.

-ISU: 3-3 I think we really rattled them. I think they'll lose 3 of those 6.

-osu: 4-2, wow thats an easy schedule! I have a feeling they drop one of the easy road games though (@TTU or @TCU), split with WVU, and ISU.

-WVU: 2-4, wow that BRUTAL! I bet they split home court with osu, get swept by KU, lose @ISU & @Bay, only beating UT and osu at home.

-Bay: 3-3/possibly 4-2, lot of road games. Ill go with sweep tech, beat WVU, and a toss up game @UT.

Its going to be a really interesting last couple of weeks in the Big 12! ISU and WVU could really fall on some hard times and drop a few spots in the rankings. Looking at this, I like us to finish 2nd, and with a little help we might be able to catch KU and have that showdown in LNC for the title. Who knows, that sure would be sweet!

Iowa St could easily lose 3 games outside of ours. They'll be underdogs in two (@OSU and Texas), and barely favored against us and Baylor. They'll be favored on the road against KSU and at home against WVU, but their game @TCU might be close to a pick. I think they' go 2-2 on the road and 2-1 at home, but I could see them losing four games just as easily as two.
