Interesting. Indian Hills CC is where Akolda Manyang is playing, and Manyang is the 7' cousin of Longar Longar that OU is recruiting. Bobbitt played at Indian Hills as a freshman, transferred and redshirted in California for a year, and came back to Indian Hills this past year. Why does OU sign a juco guard that only has 2 years left to play? Does this have anything to do with Hornbeak?

I'm definitely not a fan of another guy with 2 years left to play. We are going to turnover 5 scholarships when that class graduates if we add another kid to that class. That's WAY too many in my mind, regardless of spreading it between jucos and freshman, unless we recruit a top 10 recruiting class, which I don't see happening.

Maybe it's as simple as Lon thinks the kid can help this team? Hopefully Jelon stays but the last thing you want on a team is a malcontent over playing time or someone who doesn't want to be here.
