Roderick Bobbitt

Knowing that Hornbeak is indeed gone, losing out on this kid hurts even more. Not a lot of talent available at this point. And we definitely need a guard capable of backing up the point.

So if we find absolutely no one, does this mean Cousins will "spell" Jordan at the 1 and we go with a bigger lineup? Who else could handle the point, Bola Alade?

There is zero chance we don't find somebody. No way we can go into next year with only Woodard, Cousins, Hield, and Booker.

It's not zero but it definitely is not high. They'll find someone.

I honestly believe they'd offer the most mediocre JUCO pg they could find before not taking anybody. They can't afford to not have another body. No matter have mediocre.

I think we'll end up with a solid/good player, but if we strike out, they'll take a warm body just to make sure we don't end up in a bad spot, numbers-wise.

I agree. I could care less if the guy can shoot. Just need a pg who can play 8-10 a game. Get us in our sets and defend. If I'm being picky 6'3" or over would be sweet.

Can Sam Grooms come back and play another year or two. He'd be the perfect fit I think to play PG

That gives me flashbacks to Carl Blair.

Carl Blair would not have been a bad change of pace PG for 8-10 mpg ... offensively he was skilled, but defensively not good. Problem is he had to play 30 mpg.

Translation: was much slower.

This late in the game most of the choices are going to come with some sort of limitation.

A senior pg with immediate eligibility would be best. Then shake and trier

Making mulitple trips from the islands to the mainland over a few month period would be miserable. That's a lot of flight time.
