And you saw why last night as they opened a can for their 3rd BCS blowout victory.

What a huge upgrade adding WVU & TCU over nobodies Missouri & A&M.

Agreed. It was addition by subtraction BEFORE adding great programs like WVU and TCU, who actually have played in BCS games. Now Missouri and A&M can keep churning out 7-5 seasons, but at least now we don't have to hear about it.

Calling TCU and West Virginia great programs seems like a stretch to me. They may be better than A&M and Missouri but I would hardly call any of them great programs.

A&M is the school with most unrealistic opinion of itself in all of college sports. They truly believe they are right there with schools like Oklahoma, Nebraska, Texas, and Alabama when in fact they are far, far below that level. I would rank A&M with schools like OSU, Tech, Wisconsin, Michigan State, etc. They are second tier at best.

Missouri is probably a bigger joke but they at least know their place in the world of college sports.

It will be interesting to see what West Virginia does in the Big XII. I think they will win at home fairly consistently and lose on the road a lot.

I think TCU is going to quickly fall to the bottom of the conference.

This further validates why the Big 12 upgraded from Mizzou/A&M to West Virginia/TCU... And that's primarily because A&M has been a subpar program over the last several seasons.

By the way, West Virginia retains the majority of that offense that racked up 70 last night. They have a legit shot at winning the conference next season.

Recently (i.e. the last several seasons) I wouldn't even put A&M on the level of OSU, Tech, Wisconsin, etc. They have been very disappointing outside of two solid seasons (2010 and 2006). And their victory of the Car Care Bowl or whatever was A&M's first bowl win since the 2001 GalleryFurniture.com Bowl. Talk about an embarrassment.

WVU already whipped our a$$ and TCU ended our first home winning streak under Stoops. Nuff said

WVU winning a BCS game 70-33 is ridiculous.

I have a friend who is a Miss St booster who told me flat out West Virginia was not invited because enough schools were prepared to vote against them for competitive reasons.

WVU has already out recruited SEC schools for players like Pat White then played and slapped them around and if they joined the SEC it would get much worse.

They think A&M will open Texas recruiting to them and they are wrong. They are correct in knowing that Missouri is not a competitive threat but they will have to subsidize them because Missouri does not have much of a following and will not add enough revenue to make up for their share.

If my team just lost by 38 I'd probably revert to this stuff again, too.

West Virginia was definitely impressive in their 26 point loss to Syracuse this year.

West Virginia joins the Big XII as an equal peer to OU and Texas. They have all won 3 BCS games and been to the final 4 in the BCS era.

Sawyer, you bragging about a meaningless regular season win over OU who has totally owned you in all sports for over a century shows what a joke your program is. Now run along so the SEC can have sloppy seconds with Missouri & A&M.

Priceless when a Mizzou fan tries to talk smack!!!

:ez-roll::ez-roll::ez-roll:

Mizzou is the ultimate program of "Much Ado About Nothing"!!!

Have fun in the same division as Kentucky and Florida in basketball and in the same division as Florida, South Carolina, and Georgia in football

P.S. I cant wait to read some of your posts on the Kentucky Basketball Board. Hilarity will ensue

No one's bragging.

I'm perfectly happy with where Mizzou is right now.

Oklahoma should be proud of their bowl wins over Washington State and Connecticut and Kelvin Sampson's elite eight win against Quin in 2002. I don't understand why that's not enough for you.

I noticed you failed to list the 7 conference titles, two of them trashings of Pinkel.

c'mon we all know that OU didn't beat mizzou, they beat themselves
I wanted to add with Landry now staying, OU is the favorite to win the Big 12 next year. Order restored.

Disclaimer: WVU will be tough as well

Not trying to ignore anything. Boca didn't mention it, so neither did I.

Oklahoma has certainly been among the best football programs in the Big 12.

That's not how I would characterize it at all. I would say they have embarrassingly dominated the rest of the Big 12 by racking up 7 titles in 12 years. The next closest in that time frame is Texas with 2. They are far and away the dominant program of the Big 12.
