I thought I would re-post some candidates I think we should consider. These are names that people are discussing so you won't see G Marshall, BCG, etc. since we are all familiar with these

I personally really like Blaine Taylor

I guarantee when Capel leaves, we'll hire someone with ties to this area.

Maybe some of those names you mentioned have ties, but I'm not aware of them. To rebuild, somebody that is familiar with the area, and the Big 12, and can recruit Texas right away is a must.

That's definitely one school of thought.

The Mizzou St guy is really recruiting Oklahoma well, have two guys from Oklahoma in the 2011 class and I'm pretty sure he's looking at others down the road.

I like Blaine Taylor. His teams at ODU have always been good at offensive rebounding and have also been tough on defense, suggesting a disciplined coach who can turn around a program fairly quickly.

who was the guy at Texas State that Coolm wanted a few years back?

Ronnie Arrow, and I dont think it was Texas State.

His South Alabama Jaguars finished 12-16 this year.

Guys, the ODU coach isn't going to be an improvement over Capel. At best he and Capel are equals, Capel routinely beat his teams while at VCU. Taylor has had some good teams but they are up and down from game to game, in the Colonial league which is 9th-10th in the country.

Heck Taylor had an 18 point 2nd half lead against VCU last night that shrunk to 1 with 3 minutes left. He had no answers to stop it, fortunately for him ODU hit a put back and VCU was out of gas at the end. Don't think he's the answer, unless the answer is any type of new blood.

I like Quonzo as well. Woodberry is the guy that's after OK kids. At the end of the day, the OK kids are easy gets if the current coach would go get a few.
