I think this is pretty dead on and what most of us are thinking. This is a pretty good team regardless. If Thomas gets eligible it has a chance to be really good.

I agree, this team is going to be good even if Thomas is not available. The four returning starters from last year's team should be much improved, plus we have the makings of a solid group of backup players in Booker, D. J., Lattin and Walker. To be at least as good, if not better, the only thing we have to do is replace Cam and Tyler. While Cam was a key to our success last year, I don't see that as a major hill to climb.

The only question right now is will this year's team be better or will it be really special if Thomas is eligible to play?

If Houston transfer TaShawn Thomas (15.4 points, 8.1 rebounds, 2.4 blocks in 13-14) receives a waiver from the NCAA to play immediately, Oklahoma will have a legitimate chance to be a top-10 team for the duration of the 14-15 campaign.
