State Playoffs

Speaking of HS bball, I'm working for two weeks in Mr. Bolden's neck of the woods. Would love to get out and watch him play a game live, but it's probably not going to happen. Keep hoping I'll run into him at dinner one night so I can fill his head with pro-OU information. :)

Bolden is in San Antonio for the state tournament. Should be some good 6A games.

holy cow...36 games?

in ks we get 20, 2-3 sub-state, then 3 at state. Total 26 at most

Chag only played four games healthy all year. Got hurt second game of the season. Union missed 14 free throws and missed a wide open lay up with 12 seconds to tie the game. I was not impressed by Harrah when I saw them this year in TOC.

Only if they switch the small school playoffs to Tulsa and I don't think they want that.

It actually has nothing to do with where small school is at. They had 5a and 6a in OKC the same time as the small schools in the past.

It all comes down to money. ORU wants to host and I believe charges a small fee or no fee at all. All of the locations in OKC charge a pretty penny and some act as if they don't want to host at all. I love OU and like Loyd Noble but it is the worst place to host because they push all of the lower bowl seats back. When on the court it seems like you are a mile from the crowd.

It will come back to OKC when they get a place that won't charge too much and has a nice enough place. I really like it at the Peak that year they had it there. It was the ford center then but they put curtains down and made the gym seem much smaller than it was.
